We are a part of the extreme weather emergency shelter network for those who are homeless. For the past three winters we have provided space in our facitities to house up to thirty men each night. The goal is to provide minimal support services (shelter, bedding and food) to help people survive. Since the shelter network opened no one in Yakima has died of exposure. |
